SBA Expands 504 Fee Waivers for FY 2027

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has extended its SBA 504 loan fee waivers for Fiscal Year 2027 and expanded eligibility to include qualifying food supply chain businesses and businesses located in rural areas. The fee waivers apply to eligible loans approved between October 1, 2026, and September 30, 2027.

Eligible businesses include manufacturers, qualifying food supply chain businesses, and businesses located in rural areas. For these borrowers, both the upfront guaranty fee and annual service fee will be waived, helping reduce the overall cost of financing. The waiver also applies to eligible 504 debt refinance projects.

This expansion creates new opportunities for businesses investing in commercial real estate, equipment, facility improvements, and growth projects while providing meaningful savings through the SBA 504 loan program.

For complete eligibility details, review the SBA 504 Fees for Fiscal Year 2027 Information Notice.

If you have a project that may qualify, contact Business Lending Partners to learn how these expanded fee waivers can benefit your business.
