Wisco Carts Expands with SBA Financing from Community State Bank and BLP

Milton, WI – Wisco Carts, LLC, a thriving golf cart business founded in 2020 by Dan Sweeney and George DeGraffenreid, operates out of two leased locations: their original facility in Muskego and a Milton property they began leasing in 2023.

Looking to transition from leasing to owning the Milton location, the owners reached out to Jay Cashmore at Community State Bank for assistance. Specializing in new and used golf carts, customizations, and on-site repairs, Wisco Carts saw owning the Milton property as a strategic move to reduce costs and better serve the 60 campgrounds located within an hour of the facility, fueling their continued growth.

To help acquire the Milton location, Jay Cashmore at Community State Bank partnered with Business Lending Partners (BLP) to provide an SBA 504 loan, crafting a financing solution designed to meet Wisco Carts’ specific needs while reducing upfront costs and securing a competitive interest rate. The project was financed with Community State Bank providing 50% of the funding, BLP facilitating an SBA 504 loan for 40%, and Wisco Carts contributing a minimal 10% down payment.

BLP’s staff took the time to sit down with the owners of Wisco Carts, educate them on the SBA process and worked with them on the details to get the loan approved and closed. The owners and I truly appreciated their insight.

By purchasing the Milton location, Wisco Carts has secured a permanent home, reduced occupancy costs, and created three full-time jobs, all while strengthening the local economy by serving nearby campgrounds. Thanks to BLP and Jay Cashmore’s collaboration, Wisco Carts is positioned for lasting success. The business operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at both their Muskego (S80W19025 Janesville Rd.) and Milton (2201 E. Vincent Rd.) locations.
