SBA 504 Helps Launch Lavagio Express Laundry, Delivering Full-Service Convenience to Mount Pleasant

Village of Mount Pleasant, WI –  Lavagio Express Laundry built on over 20 years of industry expertise, brings a modern, high-quality laundromat experience to Mount Pleasant, WI. With a goal to provide high-quality laundry services, Lavagio offers full-service wash, dry, and fold options, including convenient pickup and delivery, as well as self-service commercial washing and drying machines.

 

Lavagio Express Laundry is committed to providing a warm and welcoming experience for customers, drawing on a strong background in finance and strategy. With 17 years of experience in key financial roles at a global transportation company, this expertise is aimed at ensuring the business flourishes while effectively serving the community.

 

To help bring this project to life, the owner secured funding to purchase and renovate a facility at 2015 Ole Davidson Road. Partnering with Joshua Sopczak at Town Bank and Business Lending Partners (BLP), he secured financing for 50% of the costs from Town Bank and to reduce his downpayment and monthly interest rate, he also secured an SBA 504 loan from BLP. The SBA loan provided 35% of the total financing and reduced his equity contribution to 15%.

Working with BLP and the SBA allowed Town Bank to provide a more favorable loan structure to our client, allowing them to focus on their growth.

Lavagio Express Laundry aims to create an impactful business for the Mount Pleasant community. More than just a laundromat, it offers a modern, full-service solution for busy families. With backing from Town Bank and BLP, this minority-owned business will create 3 to 4 full-time jobs while addressing the need for concierge laundry services. Lavagio provides ozone sanitization, folding services, and access to self-service machines, operating daily from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 70% concierge and 30% self-service distribution.
