Righteous Autos' Growth Accelerates Thanks to SBA 504

City of Racine, WI – Paul Sanchez began his entrepreneurial journey in 2010 by opening Righteous Autos Inc., an auto repair and sales business, in a one-car garage near Downtown Racine.

Paul began his automotive career with a strong educational foundation. He earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from ITT Tech in 2008 and a master’s degree in management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSoE) in 2012. While studying, he gained valuable experience working as a sales manager at Servantez Automotive in Racine.

Due to overwhelming demand and word-of-mouth recommendations, he soon needed a larger location, leading to the business’s expansion in 2014. However, business demand continued to grow and it soon became clear that another expansion was needed.

The former Garbo Motors building in the City of Racine was identified as the next expansion location. To acquire and renovate the facility and buy new equipment, Paul turned to Bank Five Nine and Business Lending Partners (BLP) to obtain an SBA 504 loan. BLP was able to secure an SBA 504 loan that provided 40% of the overall project, Bank Five Nine provided 41% and Paul provided the balance, 19%. In addition to the SBA 504 loan, BLP was able to provide a Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) loan to support the project as well.

My vision for Righteous Autos is to offer reliable and affordable automotive services while expanding our capabilities. With BLP’s support in financing our new location, we’re poised to enhance our service offerings, delivering top-notch repairs and quality used car sales. Focused on transparency, integrity, and customer satisfaction, Righteous Autos is set for substantial growth.

Righteous Autos offers comprehensive mechanical services, including AC/heat repair, auto maintenance, brake repair, engine work, oil changes, full-service tire care, and transmission repairs. They focus on preventative maintenance, providing transparent safety inspections and detailed reports.

The expansion of Righteous Autos goes beyond business growth; it significantly benefits the local community. With the creation of 10 full-time equivalent (FTE) jobs, the project supports local employment and economic development. As a minority-owned business, Righteous Autos contributes to the diversity and vibrancy of the local community, embodying the spirit of entrepreneurship and community service.

BLP is the finance team for the Racine County Economic Development Corporation (RCEDC). Every project must be evaluated and reflect an element of community development.

BLP, with offices in Racine and Green Bay, is licensed to serve businesses and collaborate with banks throughout Wisconsin. Its commitment to supporting small businesses and enabling franchise growth has made it a trusted partner for entrepreneurs seeking to leverage the benefits of SBA lending programs.
