Lloyd's True Value uses SBA 504 to purchase land, construct building

City of Janesville, WI – Christopher and Anita Lloyd, owners of Lloyd’s True Value, a True Value Hardware Store, opened their Janesville store with the goal of providing a knowledgeable and friendly experience for the community. Whether a customer is a pro or taking on a DIY home improvement project, they are ready with expert advice, tools, equipment, and products needed to get the job done.

Christopher, a retired officer lieutenant from the City of Janesville Fire Department, has a background in the construction trades, owning successful painting, wallpapering, and property development businesses. Anita, currently a Production Scheduler at Morgan Corporation, brings 14 years of supervisory experience from SSI Technologies, Inc.

 

To fund the new construction project, Christopher and Anita sought financial assistance from Business Lending Partners (BLP) to secure a Small Business Loan (SBA). With support from BLP and the Small Business Administration (SBA), the Lloyds obtained $1.85 million in financing for the construction of Lloyd’s True Value.

In addition to the company’s retail services, Lloyd’s True Value provides equipment rental services, an extensive lawn and garden department, retail hardware, paint, plumbing, electrical, and additional services such as glass cutting, pipe cutting/threading. They also offer a loyalty program for their customers, attractive commercial account incentives, cyclical sales, and expert advice.

The store’s operational hours are from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday, and 7:30 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday.
