BLP and Ixonia Bank Drive Success for Felker Truck & Equipment Acquisition

Dale, WI – For nearly 30 years, Felker Truck & Equipment has been a cornerstone in the propane and refined fuel industry across the Midwest. The company, located in Dale, WI, outfits, services, and maintains specialized fuel delivery trucks, helping customers keep their operations running smoothly.
When longtime owner Dick Klein, who joined the company in 1997 and later acquired it in 2002, began planning for retirement, he built a strong team to ensure a seamless succession. That succession plan included Nick Rogers, a fifth-generation manufacturing professional with extensive experience managing large-scale operations, business acquisitions, and procurement. Nick’s leadership and industry insight will position Felker for a prosperous future.

To make this ownership transition possible, Business Lending Partners (BLP), a Wisconsin certified development company able to provide SBA 504 loans, collaborated with Alex Hinze, First VP of Commercial Lending at Ixonia Bank, to structure a financing solution to meet the needs of the customer. Ixonia Bank financed 50% of the project costs, while BLP provided 40% through the SBA 504 loan, reducing the down payment to just 10%.

Ixonia Bank is proud to support Felker Truck with its acquisition and real estate purchase. Partnering with BLP to secure the SBA 504 financing allowed us to tailor a solution that fit the project’s needs and ensured a smooth process from start to finish. Felker Truck is well-positioned to carry on its legacy and continue serving the community.

With a strong team already in place and Nick Rogers bringing his experience, vision, and commitment to customer service, Felker Truck & Equipment is poised to drive continued success for Wisconsin’s propane industry.

BLP is the finance team for the Racine County Economic Development Corporation (RCEDC). Every project must be evaluated and reflect an element of community development.

BLP, with offices in Racine County and Brown County, is licensed to serve businesses and collaborate with banks throughout Wisconsin. Its commitment to supporting small businesses and enabling franchise growth has made it a trusted partner for entrepreneurs seeking to leverage the benefits of SBA lending programs.
