Racine County MGP helps H.E.R. Valley grow, leading to grand opening of new location

City of Racine, WI – Trene McCaskill, owner of H.E.R. Valley – a women’s wellness center in Racine that promotes self-love through spa services – will celebrate the grand opening of her new location at 904 State St. on July 9th at 11:45 a.m. The new location will also have a tea shop.

Family, friends, members of the media, and local community residents are encouraged to attend.

McCaskill opened H.E.R. Valley in October 2020. Over the past two years, McCaskill has successfully grown her services to exceed her former building’s capacity.

One example of this growth is how she continues to develop her skills. Earlier this year, McCaskill used
the Racine County Matching Grant Program (MGP) to pay for postpartum care training, allowing her to better serve clients and ultimately grow her business.

The MGP is administered through the Racine County Economic Development Corporation (RCEDC). As
of June 2022, there is $47,000 remaining for Racine County businesses.

The uses for the MGP include consulting, training and marketing. The program will reimburse up to 50% of eligible costs or up to $5,000 per applicant. Eligible applicants include woman, minority and veteran-owned businesses.
