Matching Grant Program (MGP) - 2018

There’s still time to get up to $5,000 from the 2018 Matching Grant Program (MGP)! The quarterly report revealed a significant amount left in the fund. Though the year is nearing its end, it’s not too late to access the fund for training or marketing consulting that helps retain or expand your workforce.

The goal of the MGP is to provide means for existing small and medium-sized Racine County companies to obtain professional services necessary for a strong foundation for continued business growth and provide jobs for Racine County residents. The MGP is a reimbursement based matching grant program up to $5,000 per business per year to support training costs and marketing consultants. Criteria include, but is not limited to, location in Racine County, employing less than 200 employees, operating for a least one year, being minority, woman, or veteran owned, involvement in an RCEDC or partner organization program, and being current with all financial and tax obligations.

The fund is administered by Business Lending Partners, RCEDC’s financing division. Our staff reviews each of the applications received to ensure the applicant meets the eligibility criteria identified above and works with the applicant to complete an application. The RCEDC staff will then make a recommendation to the RCEDC Loan Committee for approval of the grant application. Contact us to see if you qualify for up to $5,000!
