Lavelle Industries Expansion

Lavelle Industries Inc. recently announced expansion of its Burlington and Whitewater facilities. The rubber and plastics manufacturer makes toilet repair products under the Korky brand name. This expansion is expected to create upwards of 70 jobs, and an economic analysis proposes that 60 positions could be indirectly generated.

“RCEDC is pleased to work with Lavelle on their latest expansion. Lavelle is commited to manufacturing in Southeast Wisconsin, providing well-paying manufacturing jobs in the area.”

Laura Million, RCEDC’s Business Development Manager.

Lavelle is set to receive over 500,000 in tax credits over the next three years to assist with their growth. The credits depend on the number of jobs created and the company’s capital investment during those three years. The company plans to invest up to $14 million in equipment and staffing at both locations. The expansion has already begun at the Whitewater facility.

Lavelle has a long history of innovation and dedication to the area:

“Founded in 1912, Lavelle continues to grow by adding new products and focusing on our customers. Manufacturing in Wisconsin is a competitive advantage for us.”

Rhonda Sullivan, Majority Owner and President

Their industry has unique specifications, which are met by Lavelle’s proprietary formulas and manufacturing processes. Korky brand products can be found nationwide.
